You know you won’t see me eating from silicone hummus cups....

I have the update on iOS now.

How does this work with the ‘turntable’ method that has been linked on the site? That shouldn’t be enough distance to register a change with GPS I would have thought.

“The configuration of taps and drains is responsible for the direction of spin given to water draining from sinks and bathtubs to a degree that overwhelms the slight influence of the Coriolis force.”

Apparently Amazon has a market for used gum. From the warehouse deals linked above:

I would like to introduce you to Frog Eye Wasabi that grows Japaneses style Wasabi on the Oregon coast using an interesting setup. 1 pound will run $100 plus shipping. While I haven’t had any of their product yet, I found the whole thing quite fascinating. Found out about them from a Zagat Youtube video:

Is there a pokemon associated with radiation? I live near the Y-12 National Security Complex, site of atomic research during the Manhattan Project and occasional host of 82 year old Catholic nuns.

Something that glows in the dark with the potential to wipe out the local area would be great.

This is soo true. The fountain that sits behind where I work and has some apartments on the other side is a pokestop. Not sure who owns the fountain, but the walking trail around it connects to the public sidewalk on the other side of our building at the street so I assume it’s a public green-way or such.

Just tried it again after posting. Apparently they key is to select the option to log in with another account instead of retry, use the same google account, and it will ask for permissions again. Got the permissions as indicated above.

I got the update earlier today, but my google permissions still said full access. I’ve revoked it to try and get it to re-prompt, but not able to get the app to fully load. Not sure if normal server issues or if it didn’t like that I removed it from my google settings.

Damnit! I just ordered an iOttie just the other day too. :(

I’ve got a pair of these: https://amzn.com/B016Y8XJCW that I’m quite happy with. Not sure if that’s the previous generation of these or not.

I fell for the click-bait headline. I thought this was going to be an article about a class action and how to sign up, but alas:

I’d love to get my hands on Fate/Stay Night. But have no idea how. I caught one version of the anime on Netflix and loved it. Didn’t realize it was a game for some time. Usually things based on games don’t turn out well, so I was doubly surprised.

Can you provide some more information on Telegram? I thought it was considered pretty good. You link to an article for the “Weak and Faulty” but can’t find anything on the default settings you mention that leave everything unencrypted on the server and so on.

It ain’t a bad deal the way I look at it. Company matches some, and there’s about a dozen (not couning the Taget 20xx types) Vanguard funds to choose from. The fees aren’t bad at all. The pretax auto deduct really helps me. I never see it as spendable so I don’t miss it. If it were left to me to save some after

I can’t remember where I saw it recommended, but The Elements of Investing by Malkiel and Ellis has a lot of good info and, if I remember, a pretty fast read. They emphasize indexing as well, but talk a bit about different indexes such as international stock, or domestic bond indexes.

I’ll be checking out more of your

I’ve read very good things about Vanguard in and their funds in general. My 401K through work is through Vanguard, but I also have some funds in Fidelity from a 401K I rolled over when I left that job.

Any thoughts on index ETFs? I think that’s the right term. Isn’t listed as a fund but buys and sells like a stock, but it’s a share of a fund that tracks an index.

Make sure to get receipts and such. Seen to many stories of people getting charged for equipment that was already returned.
