I understand that, I also bought an iPad this year and it's worked out as the MacBook Air taking over use of what was my main Windows laptop (even though I bought it initially to take the DM9's place) and the iPad taking over the use of my former Dell Mini 9

I don't really see why my tablet would need to run "productive" software, I use it for my leisure whereas my actual laptop is for work, plus I can just easily remote into my laptop via my tablet to run said "productive" software

I used to own a Dell Mini 9 and really its only appeal was that it was cheap and could run OS X pretty well, but I eventually upgraded to the real deal, a MacBook Air and my Dell Mini 9 was quickly sold
