In an apartment complex I lived in they smashed the window of one car to get the opener then stole another car. Happened more than once. Always keep opener with you.

Yes.. Really. I have had parents scream at me for my store not having as of today and school started in my part of Seattle last week, everyone is back as of today. Pink Pearl easers, glue sticks and the worst of all the graph paper composition book.. My store BTS looks like it was destroyed in a home invasion...

This so this! I work retail and during the day its the mom’s all pour in after the drop off of the older kids while pushing the little one around having coffee. Every single day. Yoga pants, top knot hair, bright neon sneakers.

Yep. Where I work it will clock you out at Midnight then clock you back in a 12:01am, its just a marker for that days payroll, not your worked hours. That is still counted. So they are just stealing from their employees.

That 48-50 is my dream truck dad had one and my parents split just before I could scoop it as a first car project.. He sold it as a non running project. I still keep an eye out for a decent project. One day I will find one and spend way to much money to build it into a primer body. I also agree with 70's 2wd Ford they

I see Emergency trips to the mall all the time. coffee spilled on clothes while driving into work. Kid peed pants needs new pants. Two things I see all the time working retail. And these people spend maybe 10min in the store tops.

Yep I actually cut my bangs when I have them in a upside down V using tip of my nose as the guide. Then I take the heavy spirals and split them up by cutting some just a little shorter so I get more separate spirals. I read my Curly Girl book and I find it works on my head. Yours may vary.

I am white girl curly too. I know exactly what you mean. Either got a mullet or a poodle cut.. I have fired stylists during a hair cut, yes during. After a 20 min consult that my hair shrinks “This much” so you need to cut it longer than it looks she cut my bangs off on one side. I had not even an inch on one side

NBC can suck it. CBC or BBC.. I had enough of the commercials that made it impossible to actually watch the NBC coverage.

Glad I wasn’t the only one who saw that. The rear quarter window and the wheels are straight from or to the libby.

I understand ya. It’s a bucket list truck. I bought mine four years ago. Not one minute of regret. Find a good one and have fun with it.

Though there are people who live in apartments where the landlords get fussy about working on a car. But I do agree with you.. Most people treat their car like a fridge.

I was pretty sure my response was to pucklebug, my apologies.. What I get posting from my phone that doesn’t like Jezebel on mobile.

I can explain at least I think I can of why we use so much. The US pretty much works people into disability if you think about it. Low amounts of vacation, crap healthcare system. So in

Shatter your Ankle in a hockey game and that class of pain meds comes out cause even though they had to surgically fix the fractures, they still had to set it. And that is super painful. As the ER doc said, better to get him comfy so when we move this, it won’t be torture on him. Cause there is no reason for that.

True, we took the red leather wheel from a Redline, blacked out the bezels and put it on our Solstice GXP Coupe.

The Solstice got that wheel as well.. As did the Sky.. The Sky Redline the hoop was red with chrome bezels around the buttons. The GXP was all black with stitch colors of red or silver depending on what option you picked with a if I remember right a darker grey bezel around the buttons..

As a car driver I miss lane splitting bikes, cause you let them by and you don’t worry about them creeping into your blind spot. My logic anyways.. Cali native now in Seattle..

I nearly spit my drink out on reading your reply.. Thank you for the laugh..

Nope. Never stopped the buggers from biting me. Cortisone cream mixed with allergy meds is a godsend for the welts.

But the road surface is torture. The aggregate in the concrete/asphalt is the perfect size for making the most horrid noise. You don’t need a sign to tell you when you enter Oregon, the road noise tells you. Other than that, not a bad state to pass through.
