A dealer here in Toronto has been trying to unload a brand new 2000 Lotus Esprit for $90-100k (basically sticker mrsp) for well over a decade now. It just sits in the showroom, and I drive past it weekly. I love the Esprit, but seeing as a good used example can be had for 30-40k now this guy is out to lunch. And he

s13 Nissan 240sx. I have seen "clean" ones with "no" rust with "low" kms (in the high 100's low 200's) have asking prices of $6-7k. 6k for a 2.4L 4 banger that really isn't that great and 20-25 years old is a little out there. I blame the drifters!

I guess one of the benefits of living in Canada! I helped a buddy pick up a 90 325is for $950 a few months back! My other friend in Montreal picked out some special edition E30 a few years ago from a junkyard for $400

I bought a 1988 Mazda 323 GTX for $800 and took it rallyx and autox for a while, couldn't find a better car for what I wanted to do.

The golfcart...have you ever had one die during a game and you have to walk back, they are slow and truly just a waste of time

The number one has to be GM execs taking private jets to Washington to ask for bail out money.

BMW estoril blue...looks best on an e36 M3 but still sexy on the new M5

Ford Transit Connect...not only is it an awesome van, but to import into Canada they were shipped from Europe with seats in the back and windows and claimed to be "passenger" vehicles.

Small cars aren't safe. I was T boned on a rural highway in a Mazda 3 by a little old lady in a Chevy Impala who fell asleep at the wheel. The airbags popped off and my passenger and I walked away without a scratch...the little old lady in the Impala, well she went to the hospital with serious injuries. Small cars are

My speedboat at the cottage can burn through a 35L tank of 94 octane (tuned for that) in about 15 minutes. So up here in Canada its costs me about 3 bucks a minute.

Doesn't have time to look at the video but has time to do an interview? If someone is a famewhore like this guy, and posses the video that will go viral as the story has gone viral, he would show it. Sorry but you are selling snake oil!

Cadillac does it again! First the redesigned modern STS in 1998, the the smoothed out 2nd gen CTS and now an all new-ish Cadillac Escalade. They really went outside of the box on this one!

The US's 25 year import law and Canada's 15 year law. I can understand the need for a 5 or 10 year law to keep buying within the boarders but telling me a 2003 BMW CSL M3 is less safe then it's Canadian counterpart is a joke. I want my sweet Euro cars!

Mazda 323 GTX. I drove a 1987 323 hatch to compare how it felt to my GTX and it was like I was driving a Lada compared to a BMW. The GTX had better seats, a great 4wd system and a turbo...and the little body modifications made it look a little sporty.

NuFinish wax. I use to love this stuff back in the late 90's but now there are so many other products that don't stain every piece of plastic trim on your car. This stuff is harder than hell to get off.

Honda Civic...it's made the list year after year for the most highly stolen car. Now I understand why the Ford F150 is on there...you can do so much with it..but what car thief says "I need something that's kinda sporty and great on gas" But yes I know why they are stolen...to get chopped up or exported...but if I was

I was born in the early 80's, so when 7 year old me saw the VHS box for Speed Zone I had to rent it. I watched it again about 6 months ago and it was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It's sad because it is technically Cannon Ball 3, the first Cannon Ball movie I own on DVD and it's awesome!

ZipCar or AutoShare cars (here in Canada) I mean what screams "hipster" more than a bare bones Ford Focus in an ugly colour, that is responsibility free and you can drive around like and entitled asshat because everyone knows people who drive car sharing cars can't drive at all.

I remembered back in the early 2000's dropping your car was the thing to do, but chopping off springs was dangerous and most cars didn't have aftermarket support for drop springs. So people would use clamps. A guy who would come to stereo competitions in a lowered Chevy Beretta, and he had the clamps on the springs.

I had a 2002 red on tan lines up in February for $62000 and it had 22,000kms on the odo. Fresh service, maintained perfectly and pretty much flawless. Off season is the best time to buy up here in Canada!
