I was trying to figure that out too! I was thinking Optimus Prime from the original Transformers cartoon; the year seemed correct (1984), and the red and blue would seem to go that way, but for some reason, it wasn't as obvious as Bumblebee from the live-action movie in 2007.

I always thought:

Well, if all of the stories on Gizmodo have taught us anything about Kickstarter... C'mon all you Jalopnik commenters- $5.00 from each of you, and we can make this happen!

You presume a little too much; with the exception of the big boys like the Chevy/GMC Suburban/Yukon XL, pretty much all of these 3rd row seats are in the rear crumple zone.

Given that they have to cut production because they have a four month supply of them sitting around, I'm thinking they'll give you one before too long. #ItsAFlop

First thing I thought of when I saw this thing...

You get the capital, and I'll be more than happy to be your designer.

Momma always said, crazy is as crazy does...

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. With the exception of the Navigator, *everything* is MK[something]. So it's not even different letters for sedans versus crossovers versus SUVs- it's an S, a T, an X, and a Z.

Have you looked at Lincoln's lineup lately?

They're going really screw with everyone and call it the 4G.

If they want dividends, they shouldn't be buying stock in Facebook.

To get the fourth, you needed to go over to Gawker, so they could milk two pageviews per person out of one story. Gotta pay the bills.

Yes, YES!And not only because they were good (and good looking) cars, but because they had *names*! Yes, I've heard all the stories about mixed up translations- keep the alphanumeric gobbeldygook everywhere else if you'd like, but give us here in the U.S. names!

Oh, look- it's the Cadillac Cimarron for the new millenium!

The irony is that the people who bought the fake Facebook stock have about the same chance of ever seeing a dividend as the people who buy the real thing!

Yeah, something like this made the rounds a couple of years ago, only that time, it was a giant isopod: [www.treehugger.com]
