I was a squaresoft nut and purchased this day one. I played it for about 5-6 hours and could not for the life of me understand the combat. I gave up and now it’s in a box somewhere in my parents house. It remains to this day, one of my most shameful memories. 

I want to Star this 100 more times. 

No need to write anymore essays about TLJ. I saw it 4 times because I’m a nerd and it didn’t get better. It was just a poorly executed script. A lot of squandered potential. Was it the worst Star Wars movie? No, but it was disappointing.

I was on IG and read the (scary) comments on Starlin’s post. I noticed a lot of the accounts defending Trump had no profile pics and 1 post history. So all I said was “wow a lot of bot accounts defending Trump here.” Someone immediately responds “no bot here snowflake”. Fucking drones.

I had to look that up and holy crap, it’s so cringe. But WW fans will still love it because it’s WW. And I’m pretty certain it will get a pass because of the war against the incels or something. I thought the first movie was pretty cool up until halfway. Then it was just a downward spiral. This new trailer looks cool…

Part of the movie experience you describe are the little surprises or gut punches. I love movies and I like to experience every little detail. That’s why I shut off from the internet before I see a movie or show that I’m looking forward to. Spoilers suck.

As another Muslim American I totally agree with this. I’m tired of all this melancholy stuff. 

Jesus. Those guys must be like lvl 20+. That’s a hell of an encounter. 

I feel the new trilogy had so much potential after the generic setup of TFA. I wanted to like it so bad, but it’s just so disappointing how it turned out so far. The only SW movie where I left the theater unhappy was TLJ. However, I’m optimistic that the final film will redeem itself. Fingers crossed.
