If you can rent it, I'd say go and try it out. It's not for everyone. I personally play games on their own merit. I knew it was gonna be different so I jumped in fresh. While a lot of elements feel different (or missing for that matter) from its predecessor, DA2 is a really neat game.

I agree. I love RPGs, but I out grew this chibi stuff a long time ago. But say one word against it and people call you a COD loving redneck lol.
