They said they wanted to bring lots of friends.   Think of how many fit in the back of a box truck.

All they have to do now is throw a detainee in the back in July and not turn on the car.

135 is cooler than a car sitting in the sun in Georgia in August. Forgotten kids die in cars every year unfortunately.

In China you definitely get what you pay for from a manufacturing standpoint. You want a 50 cent wrench, they will make you a 50 cent wrench. You want a lifetime warranty professional wrench that is 98% as good as Snap On, they can do that too. It will just cost more and you will need a great Quality Assurance

“If I don't come back with at least one fish my wife will be suspicious. "

The "World's Busiest Airport" isn't really that busy right now.  Hartsfield-Jackson has five runways. I'm sure they could let the kids borrow one or two for a little while.

Even stranger for free stuff.  The quickest way to dispose of almost anything is put it in Facebook marketplace for free.  Usually gone within 2 hours.

I was selling some furniture this weekend, had it all set up for some Iraqi guy to get it.  Set up the time and never heard from him again.

Yeah, even marking it SOLD doesn't stop them.

Usually in Spanish. Absolutely NOTHING on my profile would lead you to believe that I speak Spanish. I've gotten long messages all in Spanish. I either ignore or reply English please.

Unfortunately if you want to actually sell a sub $10k (or maybe sub $5k) car Facebook Marketplace is now the way to go.  About 3 years ago I was selling my 2004 Trailblazer. I had ads on Craigslist and Facebook.   I think I got two responses from Craigslist and about 30 from Facebook. Even sorting through the idiots,

I owe someone an apology for this. In college at Georgia Tech in the 1990s, lots of construction on campus and little parking. On one street in a construction area there was parallel parking on one side of the street and for lack of a better term “perpendicular parking” on the other. The perpendicular parking was off

I could see it on some sort of fascist era custom for Mussolini. They started their calendar over when Mussolini took over and tracked the Era Fascista almost exclusively with Roman numerals.

Oold school mechanical.  No digital allowed.

Remember seeing a cable news or old school History Channel show about cruise ships.  At something like 110% booking, they just break even on operating costs.  100% booking is 2 people per cabin.  The profit all comes from alcohol sales, the casino, stores, and excursions.

No, it was used.  Hadn't had my coffee yet.

Used, hadn't had my coffee yet when I posted.

A lot of the time my wife drove it.  80% of her driving is taking my daughter back and forth to school. She can get there and back with no gas.  It is charged again for the afternoon pickup.

Hadn’t my coffee yet. D'oh, used.

There Volt specific side of these things was designed with government money to first generation Lexus LS standards or better. I bought a used 2014 Volt in 2016, it has been a great car.  Average over 81mpg.  It was well over 90 mpg until I had a 80 mile commute for 6 months with no charging at work.
