The Rams have fans - you just can’t tell at the Coliseum, where the 30K+ Rams fans disappear in a staidum that seats 90K+. Also, the cost of the tickets has to be considered - it’s about $70 a ticket for cheap seats with the Rams ($20-40 on Stubhub) but $100+ ($80-100 on Stubhub) for cheap seats for Charger games.

This was an astonishing game to watch and particularly to hear. As the (terrible!) commentators mentioned often, it’s not every day a member of the visiting team gestures to the crowd to get louder, and then the crowd obeys. I think the effect of the Eagle’s fans taking over was compounded by the fact the stadium has

Anthony Atamanuik probably comes closest to pulling it off. While Baldwin puts the minimum amount of effort into his impression, Atamanuik clearly has gone deep into character which admittedly is a terrifying thought when your character is Donald Trump. I don’t watch the President Show often because he’s so good

It seems SNL is one of those longstanding American traditions that people want to keep around without any regard for its relevance or meaning, simply because it’s a “tradition.”

What up, Perk, you skallywag, you!

You have to admit, Baldwin was coasting with that sketch. It fell completely flat. As wrote, has the Trump presidency reached Peak Buffoonery, so it’s not really possible anymore to play Orange Dumbass for laughs? All signs point to yes.

That entire last sketch played out like a painful reminder that Kenan has LONG overstayed his welcome on this show.

That last sketch was totally a warmed over version of What’s Up With That? and seemed to go on FOREVER. In fact it went so long that they had to basically cut out the goodnights.

Part of that is that the other characters have aged out of what they were there for.

Not what I said. Not even close. If anything all of that hype makes it so Yankee players have to be even more amazing to earn votes. The media discusses the Yankees ad nauseam all season so the writers are sick of the name and borderline complacent to their stats by August, let alone once the votes come around.

I hate everything about the Yankees. Their players, their god awful stadium, their universally dumb fans. Jeter, with his bland corporate driven persona makes me puke.

“We’re sorry we were caught charging $4.50 for tap water. In the future, we will conceal it in Dasani bottles like Coca-cola already does.”

Cool story, people from Austin are soo badass!

“Current Craig needs a million dollars to pay back Investor A. Paying back Investor B is a problem for Future Craig.”

Here is what I never understand...the only conceivable end-game here has to be to flee to a non-extradition country with the money right? Like, where was this going to go? He was going to keep his ponzi scheme alive for the next fifty years and then die? I don’t get it...you take the 2.6 million and you fuck off to

> Sign stealing is as old as the game, and apparently not in and of itself against the rules (the written rules at least). The use of “technology” seems to be where the actual violation is.

In fairness to the Falcons, the Patriots waited for Freeman to be where they wanted him and then launched Hightower at him. Gameplanning matchups. The Edelman catch is as good a catch as the SB will see - some of those you lose. See helmet and Kearse.
Belichick required McDaniels and his team to have a bunch of

The winds are strong but predictable; thunderstorms have more unpredictable winds and are more dangerous.

I mean windspeeds of 150 mph isn’t anything to a plane, and if the hurricane is over water then there’s no debris to worry about.
