I’ve composed a poem/insane person rant using all of Drew’s all caps words:

Why is this entire comment a parenthetical aside?

(As a left-of-center lawyer, I really wish you wouldn’t dismiss this as anything like a long shot to appeal - although given the make-up of the Court, and the likelihood the case may be heard while there’s still a 4-4 split, which would preserve the 2nd Circuit’s ruling, Brady has very long odds to *win* the case.

But…

So does this make him more or less likely to be signed by the Cowboys?

Not at all if the frame is solid underneath. 1x6s are called deck boards for a reason. 2x4s make it look as if it was made from discarded pallets (which is an in thing for now).

Perhaps I haven’t searched hard enough, but I don’t think anyone is saying they deserved to die because they ran from cops. They died because they made a mistake. You can’t blame the officers for not risking their lives to save theirs. Police have an obligation to do whatever they can within reasonable limits, but…

They CLAIM it’s a stain. I have used that stuff before it’s actually a white paint and it shows wear and peels like a paint so I consider it a paint no matter what the can says. Stain soaks in and can not peel off, that means you dont get a pure white painted look and you can still see the wood grain.

No reason to use 2x4s for decking. 1x6s are lighter and smoother and cover more area per board.

The one crime... it’s painted. Painted decks look like hell in short order and need a lot of maintenance. use a whitewash type of stain and a very good sealer and it will be a low maintenance deck.
