Moto X prompts the user to train the phone when voice activation option is first turned on.

Moto X has a solution for that by letting the user train the voice recognition system to respond to a specific voice and intonation. Since Google retained Motorola's ATAP, maybe something similar will be implemented to voice search.

They added the "personalized voice recognition" back into with this change as well. Dont know why they got rid of it.
