I’ve been talking for a few years about a Crisis On Infinite Earths solution to the fact that there are so many different DC ‘verses throughout TV and movies all owned by the same parent company. The Flash especially bugs me, as there is such a rich background on the TV show — and the concept of parallel universes and

What are the odds that the company would be named “Kerblam!” and they would be sending out “Kerblam men” and they were mailing out explosives? Could have subverted the company name a little bit.

Other than that silliness, no complaints about the episode itself.

Jeremy Bearimy is the new timey-wimey.

Scarlett Johansson?

There’s no way that the distinction between “Wifi 5" and “5Ghz, which also works with Wifi 4 and Wifi 6” will be confusing in the least. Nope not at all.

I still dislike his name though. why not call him “Elastic Man” (tried to research it, but not sure that the name is in use...maybe rights issue vs plastic man).

My first thought:

I also *just* noticed (something that other commenters might have picked up on already) the doubly-pierced ear. That’s not something that just happens with regeneration; that’s something the Doctor will have to go out of her way to do. So that’s interesting, maybe?

Considering the Christmas Special, is it possible that the TARDIS in the background is actually supposed to be the First Doctor’s? Or, at least, heavily inspired by it for in-story reasons? I guess we’ll see.

My dad tells me the story of when he first moved from NY to MA and had no idea what “Stamaket” meant. (Star Market). The accent does exist. But even we make fun of it, and movies never get it right.

Don’t call it Beantown. Don’t go to Cheers. And nobody actually says Pahk the Cah in Havahd Yahd. Also don’t drive a U-Haul on Storrow. :)

Lord/Miller shot first!

I really just hope they explain his appearance-change on screen, in a non-pandering way, but as a result of absorbing aspects of his former ka tet.

Did nobody else catch Cat Grant saying “I’ve never seen Star Wars.”? I expected Mr. Flockhart to show up for a cameo at that point....

The TARDIS sometimes has her own agenda. I think maybe she was *choosing* not to help out the Doctor with his eyes for some as-yet-unrevealed reason...

Yep, noted and intriguing as potentially more than Easter eggs. But I’m also talking about linking things together to what happens at the very end of book 7, making this a part of the same story even though it isn’t.. Timey-wimey ka.

I am hoping it makes metaphysical-multiversal reference to the book series, at least in a quiet nod to fans. There are lots of ways this could co-exist in canon.

A perfect story to post during Passover....

Hmm.. Capaldi regenerating into Simm, maybe? Now that would be weird indeed.
