Oh sweet there is a group heading up there right now actually. I am grounded at the moment. But hit up Johnny at Utah Paragliding one day and he will help you out. Cool guy.

Ok this is a bit different and that rocks but sounds like it is time to drop the motor and learn to fly ridge lift and thermals. Trust me. It is a blast and is safe. THe highest wind speed I would fly the POint (in SLC, UT) was around 15 - 18mph. But then you are using the ridge lift the wind creates. Thermals I am

Sadly in paramotoring/paragliding there are very few regulations. To be honest you can go get gear and go fly. You dont have to get training.

Well except the few that are motor gliders. And my favorite the pipstrel Taurus. Oh how I would love to have one of those one day. I can dream right?

Actaully it has all of these things. Just in different formats than what you are used to seeing. I am guessing you dont see my paragliding rig as an aircraft because I launch and land with my legs. At this point in my life they are not mechanical. That might change. With all that said the FAA sees me as an aircraft.

Screw it. Lets all go shaft drive

Full beard that generally I generally keep at about a number 4 on the trimmer so it fits under a full face helmet well. :) I will admit to having a hipster phase though. I rocks a stash and made cycling caps. I was a dark time in my life. I have learned the error of my ways.

Lets leave penny farthings out of this. They are just kick ass bikes that are currently an innocent bystander in all of this.

Hey slow down. If you have a job, no matter what it is, it should be a career and pay enough to have nice comfortable life. :) Screw people that go into business to actually make money for them selves. (Please see the sarcasm in my comment)

Many people might not like my comment but oh well. I wonder if he understands that in many states what he was doing was more than enough grounds for the driver to shoot him in self defense. Not saying that is what should have happened at all. I am just saying people need to realize what possible outcomes there can be.

So short answer is no. But it would be a riot to take a small group of people on honda groms and go at the course.

Wait one moment. Your telling me that you became a lawyer to make a living. How dare you!!!!

I ride an r1200gsa. I love it. It is big and gets me where i want to go. But I also realize that my wife couldnt ride it. She is to short. On top of that there are also other out there that want the joy of a motorcycle but for what ever reason are not able to ride one. THis could be anything from physical to mental

The part that really is doing the saving is the material (foam and what not) inside the shell. Yes all parts work together but the padding inside is what is taking your head and doing its best to manage it going from moving to stopped and instead of transferring the energy of that into your head (concussion or more)

3rd Gear: GM To Beef Up Truck Plant with hamburger Fridays. Employees are slightly excited.

I wanted to keep reading both of you having this argument, I am betting both sides have there points but my mind kept turn to Zoolander and the roommates fighting. Now i have to watch that movie. So overall this argument is a good thing.

I just picked up a new to me 1200gsa and it has a throttle lock on it. I dont understand how i have ever rode any distance with out one, now that i have one.

I have a few family and friends telling me the same thing as I prep for my third attempt this Saturday. If your interested i would check out the iron butt association site. They are more about safety than everything else. This is why I am on my third attempt. The first attempt was stupid and in January, a loop from

Sorry for the second comment but I think a few people dont understand how the flats work. Dont think of the flats like a hard area of dirt. Think of it more like a frozen lake. The lake is full of water and salt. Just like a frozen layer of ice, the salt dries on the top. If the “ice” is to thin it wont hold enough

I was wondering if it would work. I was just out there last Thursday and right off the end of the access road there was standing water. I wouldnt take my bike on it and I already saw a jeep resting its frame on the salt just off the highway. Still an amazing place to visit and I recommend anyone go out there. Actually
