Sailplanes are a dream of mine as well. Flying something with a glide ratio of 45:1 and higher just blows my mind.

If you want to enjoy flying I suggest learning to paraglide. Currently it is the only flying i do and I highly recommend it. No power, just wind and thermals.

Cant really say I am all the young but... I use a pair of technics rp-DH1200 for two main reasons a work. 1. I like the sound. 2. They are so big that people leave me alone when I have them on. They act like a do not disturb card for my head.

I like this idea and if there is a problem with the plane the bottom drops out and all the pods are released and come down under a canopy. Each turning into a survival pod.
