My next idea for a SyFy channel original: Snow White and the Heteropoda maxima
My next idea for a SyFy channel original: Snow White and the Heteropoda maxima
Are you drunk?
I don't know if I just view the first one through a nostalgic lens, but I fucking love ID4, warts and all, to this day. I'm absolutely stoked for a sequel. I don't care about Will Smith returning, but we somehow get a bloated, crazy Randy Quaid back in it?!?
Man, these movies are starting to get into a habit of cutting entire subplots from them.
Just don't remove the "Fish, and plankton, and sea greens and protein from the sea" part.
Uh...
The Nothing approaches.
This show is painfully mediocre, yet I continue to watch it and I don't know why. Wait, yes I do. Maggie is smokin'.
Sounds awesome. I've been waiting a long time for HBO to venture into Sci-fi with their original programming.
Q: Why do rational people buy into conspiracy theories?
Dead on. Man, I wish I could remember the name of the documentary I watched a while back dealing with the psychology behind conspiracy theories, but the researchers posited that those who bought into conspiracy theories couldn't grasp that certain events were random, indiscriminate, and ultimately *gasp* completely…
I would be on that website all day.
I'm hoping more Spartan OPS episodic content will pave the way for Halo 5 and not this TV show, but it very well could.
Unfortunately, you're probably right. Hell, he's attached to falling skies, which is on a major network (not an untested new console TV channel), and that show sucks.
If they can't figure out how to get Halo to the big screen (with Niel Blomkamp), I'll take what I can get. I thought Forward Unto Dawn was surprisingly good, considering, so this has potential.
Alex Kurtzman and Robert Orci strike again.
"Think Star Wars by way of Zardoz, with a Pink Floyd soundtrack"
I often pose this question on first dates.
A nonsensical plot is what nearly tanked the first film, so I am in no way surprised that the sequel suffers from the same flaws. This is still Alex Kurtzman, Robert Orci, and Damon Lindelof we're talking about here (why these fucking hacks are involved in, like, EVERY genere pic these days is beyond me).
I hope for a shorter season as well, as I prefer tighter story telling without filler. However, I would see ~24 episodes more likely, as it gets it into the syndication sweet spot, which major networks are big fans of.
