I'm still pissed off that someone hacked it about a week ago and forced everyone in the match I was in to level 70.

So I was playing modern warfare 2 on ps3 tonight. I'm at level 57. I'm not great, but I had earned my level.

There's one important difference between Modern Warfare 2 and Team Fortress 2. When Valve hears about balance issues they do something to fix it(for the most part) Activision just says go buy the next game.
