I'm in no way saying other part of society is any better, but I wouldn't want any particular group making decisions this profound. Bringing about an end to our very way of life should not be placed in the hands of politicians, musicians, or the religious. Scientists are just another subgroup to the whole.

Man is not a perfect being, therefore man cannot create perfection. I would not trust a scientist with making my decisions or running my life, so why would I trust the technology that he creates?
