As you wish captain...

That's no moon...It's a-

I bow to your superior intellect sir. I take my leave.

But sometimes... somtimes... sometimes...

You do realize that by examining any object or event too closely you find ridiculous patterns that mean absolutely nothing right? It's not meta when you create or invent something that wasn't there to begin with. (And no I didn't say 'it's just a movie'...I said 'it's just a frickin' a great movie!' if your going to

Of course!! It's all so simple now. The mysteries of both space and time are quite easily determinable from the periodontal postconsonantal, misconfigurational longitudenal byproduct of the endemic transpatialcontaimeter!

I'd post pictures, but this article isn't about me and I don't want to distract from it's importance. But I might post a few on my Orionsfyre blog for future reference, with my wife's permission of course :)

As a huge fan of cos-playing in general this sort of sexism, misogyny, and general idiocy really infuriates me. My wife actually went to a con in Orlando this year as Uhura, and she looked great, but I also noticed a few individuals who were making similar comments, and my wife totally looked like Uhura (and I went as

Minority Report?

Men in Black POS?

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang?

Gotta admit, i'd watch the hell out of this episode.

(read with a jersey accent) Would you mind not walkin' around here... it's very disturbing, and you weird looking. Now if you don't mind i gotta go shave my crotchal area, because I have a date later.

This orally epic!

Fascinatingly NYC, Chicago, Boston, and Philly have fairly low rates, apparently concentrations of diverse people promote less racist tweets... it's almost uncanny.

Even the best players get bested sometimes. Jon Arryn played the game very well, and in the end, got poisoned. The ladder isn't partial...

Yes unfortunately, I think your right. "The no true Scotsman" argument could be inferred from what I said. I retract my former statement. I will say that anyone regardless of their education, maturity level, or background can be/do racist things. That the perpetrators in this case are black in some ways makes it

Umm... no. Sorry, but this ad isn't anything but a crass attempt to make money by appealing to the lowest common denominator ie "women being beaten= funny".

Yes... yes they are. They have compartmentalized there actions, ie- "Its just art, it's not real." or "I'm just an actor and I need to get paid" or "I will make up for this when I get famous" it's the same lie people tell themselves when they get roped to any offensive or racist garbage.

Hey as a black nerd myself, I can say with some authority that the group of bad comedians that are associated with this ad aren't nerds. No nerds I know are that ignorant of racism and misogyny. To be a nerd is to be socially akward, that doesn't give you a pass to make or give tacit approval to this garbage...
