This battle element reminds me of the ridiculous game of chaos my brothers and I came up with when we were kids: Riskopoly.
-Monopoly board.
-Risk game pieces.
First round is much like monopoly, start at go, try to buy property as you go around, except you start with a small army to leave units behind on the property

I do think they made it a little too casual friendly at launch, but the direction they are taking now is clearly catering to the people who have 40+ hours a week to devote to this game and expect Bungie to make changes that will fill all of those hours. Sure, MMOs can easily suck up a lot of your time, but what about

Okay even if this is bait I can’t stay silent. WTF, are you kidding? Ignoring the fact that due to the sheer amount of crap happening over there, they might not even have the staff that’s needed for it and Kyoto itself isn’t doing to good, this was clearly done out of respect to those affected, today probably isn’t

Jesus, you are already finished with the Forsaken DLC? So it’s that short again huh? Man, those Bungie guys really know how to half ass a game.

“Or, more accurately, like getting on a familiar treadmill.”

I would say that’s the whole argument against playing games like Destiny. Predatory Skinner Box On Steroids gaming is a plague on the industry.

This is all well and good, but I cannot fathom paying $39.99 for this after paying for the base game and the expansion pass already.

the only way to win at Destiny 2 is to not play it

All you need to know before playing Forsaken: Destiny is a fantastic game developed and updated by a group of people who do not seem to understand why people like it, who keep changing things for the worse or breaking things for the better, and who will inevitably fall on their faces while simultaneously lodging their

All you need to know is that destiny is a shell game, they intentionally release a flawed product so that they can get credit for ‘fixing it’ later, with one of the most anti consumer dlc pricing models still around.

Everything you need to know going into Destiny 2: Forsaken

When does a joke stop and being offensive start? The writer comes across as being ridiculously thin-skinned. This is schoolboy stuff.

They are being paid to be offended. It is manufactured outrage. Sane people don’t give a shit about this.

Yet another “why is this even an article on Kotaku?” moment.

I don’t post notes like this in Soulsborne games, nor do I find them funny... however, getting tilted enough to make a 2 page dissertation on the matter is fucking ludicrous. Go outside. Lighten up. Do literally anything else with your life.

You may say I’m a dreamer. But I’m not the only one. I hope someday you’ll join us. And the friends lists will be as one...

Imagine transferable digital possessions

Imagine all platforms had universal assumed crossplay.

I love how in these threads there is always a sony fanboy treating sony’s actions as some virtuous gift, and relentlessly defending their choice to give you an inferior product.

Are people still playing Destiny 2? I thought they had all quit and installed Warframe by now.

Thank you for reminding me why I stopped playing. :)

And it sucked that Microsoft did that.  Sucks that Sony is doing that now as well.
