Work at a hospital, has a huge parking lot. Whenever it snows, I have to leave early to get to work. Not to beat traffic, but to rip some donuts in the parking lot before it’s cleared.

Agree with this 100%. Your point about Scott Dixon is spot on. A true master diver will be competitive in any scenario. Greats such as Andretti (Mario), Foyt, Unser, Gurney, Alonso etc have the ability to run ovals, streets, and road courses. They all have different demands.

I guess it depends on your definition of a successful racing series. Sponsors and well promoted drivers may define a series like F1, but IndyCar has developed into a competitive series with entertaining races. That’s what counts for me.

“Our sweet disaster series?” Indycar has some of the best racing around. Five or more divers in contention for the championship, close racing, and approachable teams/drivers. I fail to see the disaster.
