Fad detox programs have managed to convince thousands of seemingly intelligent people that a restricted diet can…
Dear Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna,
I am like the most basic, Talbots-and-Rockport-wearing, white middle-aged broad on the planet, and I wouldn’t wear this.
I think she’s confused and forgets that she has always been a rich, white girl.
I rolled my eyes so hard at Khloe’s picture of them trying to look tough and quote that my eyes fell out of my head.
I had to have a bunch of pelvic floor PT sessions after I was raped and the PT was really, really miserable but did help. Basically, every week I had to go to a woman who put her hand up my bum and pushed on things until the pain went from a 10 to below a 5. I would be in tears at the start of the sessions. By the…
The Birth of a Nation, Nate Parker’s Sundance darling period piece about the deadliest slave insurrection in…
Kristin Stewart then went on to say, It’s like the situation in Syria. Just fix it, okay? Just do something and make it stop. And then it will. It’s so boring. Why is everything so boring. I don't care! Just like fix everything so I can go back to not caring about making any facial expressions in my movies.
Don’t you just love it that the anti-choice movement chooses random developmental milestones to tug at people’s heartstrings? A heartbeat at 6 weeks means very little (nothing really) in terms of viability or the elusive beginning of life. GTFO with this sappy shit.
I’ll tell you what, I feel for my black fellow citizens ALL the time. This is disgusting, justice is not a zero-sum game.
If any black resident of Cleveland doesn’t trust their law enforcement, who the fuck could blame them at this point?
All this process, for what? What was the point of any of it if not to obfuscate and shift public opprobrium away from the prosecutor’s office?
A few near-universally-acknowledged truths emerged from Netflix’s hit docuseries Making a Murderer: our criminal…
I agree. I had the same takeaway from Serial. Maybe those guys are murderers, maybe they aren’t, but how on earth would a jury come away with no reasonable doubt? And WHY WHY WHY was the sheriff’s office still involved when they could have so easily turned everything over to the victim’s county law enforcement?!?! And…
Totally. And I actually think the filmmakers meant the takeaway to be just that. Instead, a huge proportion of viewers appear to have come away with the impression that he’s definitely innocent and now that people are raising some legitimate questions about the things that the series may not have shown us, they turn…
Here’s the thing, though- they reached out to Halbach’s family to try to talk to them for the documentary, and they flat out refused to participate. So did the prosecution and the police. The only people who agreed to participate were the Averys. So of course it’s going to focus on that part of the story when those…
I think Steven Avery may well BE guilty, but there was definitely a lot of shady stuff going on with law enforcement and the film makers didn’t make that up. Law enforcement should be held accountable for their corruption full stop.
I know it’s been said, many times many ways, but the impression that I got from the doc wasn’t so much that Avery was definitely innocent, but just that the investigation and trial were messed up enough to warrant a second look.
No doubt.
Background checks *only take guns away from the bad guys*. Why does Rubio hate America? his whining above is *totally soft on crime*.
Done and done. See Dem candidates? - get to it - it’s not that difficult.
