I totally agree with you. Its clear that everyone who works on the show (including the writers and producers who speak at the Nerdist Sleepy Cast) love the show they are working on. And they love working with each other! Seems like that kind of environment would be rare.

Everyone's afraid of failure, it wouldn't be healthy to not be afraid to fail. The point is, you should try it even if your afraid. You don't have to publish it, and you should probally not write a novel with the idea of publishing it. Write first. Then consider that option.
