Thanks for stopping by Dave.

Call it heresy, but I am not a fan of the way the Z8 looks in real life.

I wish I could fit in a Fiesta ST. They’re just too small.

When they were racking up Dev miles on the last GT the development engineers would get dinner almost every evening at the BP Truck Stop at I-94 and Baker Road before their nightly runs to the west side of the state and/or chicago. Three would show up: a red with white stripes, a white with blue stripes, and Bill

I am growing a lawn in Los Angeles and not using a drop of potable water....

Not only that, but you have to take into account emissions and engine longevity. As you increase combustion pressures, you increase heat. If you do this, two things will happen:

1.) Your NOx emissions (which are very dependent on EGTs) go through the roof

This is the exact reason why I don’t own a motorcycle. My lizard brain loves dopamine, and I cannot control myself.

Before starting any work: Tetanus shot.

They were doing closer to 50mph (reports from Trek Factory Team says that Fabian hit the ground at ~80kph)

Looks like his back piece is in tact.

Reports are that they were doing 80kph when they hit the ground. I’ve gone down at ~45kph and took an ambulance ride (hit my head hard and couldn’t stand without being unstable/notious), so for these guys to continue after hitting the ground at 80kph is astonishing.

I’m very happy I bought used. Picked up a 2001 525it in late December for just over 8k USD with 58,800 miles on it (black over black with sport suspension and Style5’s). The last year it was registered was 2013, so it had some deferred maintenance that I had to take care of, including:

Furai burnt beyond repair.

The photos aren’t that great. Here is the picture of the interior of the 1993 Acura Integra I sold about 6 months ago:
