I think it depends on from where you start and the day/time. If an airport traveler, the parking capacity doesn’t come into play. On weekends (when a lot of people do touristy things) it is easier. The last time I went to Pike Place, Angle Lake was virtually empty on a Saturday at 11 a.m.

Transportation suggestion: unless I have to drive into downtown, I prefer to park at a light rail station and use the light rail to get to and from my destination. For example, if you are flying into SeaTac you can take the link (light rail) north to pretty much anywhere, including the stadiums, downtown shopping,
