There you go with the rational commentary and common sense!

I’m actually surprised the resto cost was only $250K. There’s probably that much cost in those classic whitewall tires alone.

Many of us read from work, where Twitter (among other social media) is blocked.

Neutral: My holy grail track is the go-kart track located on the uppermost deck of Norwegian Cruise Lines current fleet of megaships.

Plane/aviation buff here, I’ve been watching for this, especially since I heard they left it in-country instead of flying it out to safety ahead of the hostilities. That was criminal in itself, as they had plenty of time to move it to safety. Sad day indeed.

Shhh, don’t tell Erik that. Then he’ll have to try to write automotive content (what he’s paid to write), instead of using this platform as his free social-based therapy outlet.

I was just going to say, replace those knockoffs with some Swangaz and people in H-town would NP this all day long.
H-town, hold it down!

Thank you for sticking around here, Tom McParland. I enjoy your writing along with Tracy, and Torch.

CC was the only VW I ever considered as “good looking”.  Still, I can’t afford the maintenance, so it’s a pass from me.  If I was more VW friendly, then I’d rate it NP.

H-town, hold it down!

It’s an Orlove post.  ‘nuf said.

I don’t know where you all live, but all this continued talk about pandemic struggles.... Aside from some various shortages in consumer goods (that everyone is experiencing), it’s pretty much business as usual here in the Great State of Texas! Get out, live life, and prosper! Take the shot, or don’t, whatever you

Very little of what’s posted on Jalopnik makes much sense these days.

Agree.

That’s what happen when you are continually burning the candle from both ends.

From a fellow Okie, the V is the correct answer.

I was at the first race held here at the Austin track, the facilities weren’t finished there yet either. The track was, barely, but not much else.  My friends and I still had a good time, for it being our first F1 adventure, but I’d like to go back now that the facility has a few years under it’s belt.

Honestly, Torch, these spares weren’t that difficult to manage, on the rare occasion that you needed them

Your handle is awesome, +1 for you today, and remember that China is here, Mr. Burton.
