I used one of those U-Haul trailers once also and was surprised how heavy it was by itself. Not sure if overbuilt for liability reasons due to rental duty, or what, but certainly a better experience could be had with a privately sourced trailer.
As for the overall economy, it comes as no shock to me. Everyone I know

I have no doubt that fracking has added to the seismic activity in the state of Oklahoma. But the EPA doesn’t need another $2B funneled into it to deal with that.

He needs to trim the fat in that bloated organization.

I think that organization is bloated enough. EPA is necessary, but needs reeled in a bit.

Am I missing the reason why we should care, that Sandra Bullock’s real estate trust, owns the crumbling asphalt and plot of weeds that you’re referring to?

Surely there is more going on in the automotive world besides EV and China. Seems that’s all we get these days, with the VW Diesel news thrown in occasionally.

CP just for being ugly, ugly, ugly.

I thought Jalopnik would have more coverage of TX2K17, especially with all the staff you have in the area.

Increased weight and load in pulling trailer. Wouldn’t that negate most of the perceived benefit? My uneducated guess is that you wouldn’t get enough extended range to make it worth the trouble.

You need to clarify some of the details. What was the underside condition when it delivered to you? Surely it wasn’t this bad just from sitting in your yard for a few years after you parked it.

That silver trim around the shifter sure jumps out at ya doesn’t it?
Just not quite right looking to me.

What were Checker’s production numbers back in the day? Were they ever cranking out much more than 500 a year?
