Cool. Glad someone is getting away from them.

Only when your wife hits a large dog at 70 MPH. Other than that they'll take parking curb rash like a boss and never bust loose.
I love the Suburban/Yukon/Escalade vehicles. I agree that they are all overpriced. If you have more than a couple of "chirrens", and enjoy any type of extra curricular activity, this vehicle will meet all your needs like no other. When it's washed and polished it looks good enough to park at the nicest of places…
When they moved the spare tire from inside to underneath, the fuel tank shrunk to 30 gallons. My '09 will eat a $100 bill at the gas pump and ask for a little more.
If you thought we were over this then you haven't looked at anything on the lot lately. It's still an atrocious offering that is far too prevalent.
I've never warmed up to black wheels (except on some trucks) but will admit they look okay on the Camaro. What I still don't get is the matte black hood. Your thoughts?
I was thinking '80s Camaro but that Skyhawk is spot on!
Also, people in TX just happen to buy a shitload of cars compared to other places.
This comment is awesome. Coming a from a guy would would pick a Corvette over a Viper 8 days of the week. But you, sir, are spot on!
The post states the stopping prowess at 155mph but doesn't say at what speed this becomes active? In normal driving is it even worth having something else complex that could break?
COTD for this please!
My tops for things that should be standard across all makes.
Google "Bucket Scoop Tires" and all that is returned are links to this Jalopnik post. I was hoping to learn more about these tires or see better photos. Any help on what they are actually called?
I think this is a fabulous idea, and I agree that it seems like it would be easy to implement.
I spent many a childhood afternoon watching this as well. Please tell me what channel it can be seen on now?!?!?!
I'm eagerly awaiting the full Truck Yeah! write-up of this vehicle.
No, black wheels do not look good on everything. This madness has got to stop.
It's amazing how expensive cars are these days, and they just get higher each year.
I'm amazed that you know the VIN of your first car. I wouldn't have a clue as to how to locate mine after 19 years.
