Maybe for you but some of us like the experience that a theater can offer that my house can't. At least not for the same price

But do we really want that? Weren’t there a lot of issues the last time the companies that made the films also became the sole group distributing them? Won't that just open the floodgates to charge whatever they want for the latest films because you have a single way of viewing them?

But, per canon IIRC, TIE Fighters are basically just glass cannons. They’re really fast and hard to hit but, if you do hit them, they’ll blow up pretty easily. The Empire just used them to swarm en masse in huge numbers.

I agree that there’s no ethical consumption in capitalism and that the US is responsible for terrible things, but at the absolute fucking least I think it’s good to TRY and not spend money on stuff that actively supports literal genocide.

This was already known since launch but few media outlets picked it up. You also missed the part where two popular Hololive VTuber’s names were censored in the game as well just because they had the audacity to mention Taiwan as a country when discussing their Youtube viewership stats. They were even suspended by

I’m beginning to wonder if it is someone who is associated with the Church of the Collective. I think that’s why A-Train’s replacement got taken out.

And repeated by Homelander with JUST enough casualness to show he understands just how empty and meaningless those words are, but so powerful and useful to project an aura of caring even as a sociopath.  Just brilliant writing, directing, and acting for that whole opener.

I was thinking the same thing. Both my TV’s are Roku TV’s, and I use HBO GO since Max isn’t on it yet. (Even though I do have access to Max on my phone and computers)

I don’t get why Warner doesn’t just combine everything they have. Like they have a really good back catalog and properties, they’re in almost as good of a position as Disney is to go it alone.

I know CBS sorta complicates things, but I’d subscribe to a service that had all that WB and CW content in a heartbeat. Between

I did the Nick sub to watch The Last Airbender and Korra! (Avatar:TLA wasn’t on Netflix then.) It sucks but I got through them so quickly that I only had to pay for a month.

i feel like a chump for buying the discounted one year deal back when the promised content was greater. i would not sign up for it again. our main draw was batman the animated series, and at this point it may not even be available before our subscription is up.

Home Alone is definitely content that people will miss, especially when we get towards the Christmas season.

I subscribe to all the things. It’s ridiculous. I’m such a chump. I have Netflix/Amazon Prime/Hulu/Disney +/DC Universe and even briefly had Apple TV+. Plus some minor subscriptions on Amazon because, God forbid, I don’t have access to old BBC miniseries.

To be entirely frank, my only concern is how this HBO Max/DC Universe haggling will impact a potential Harley Quinn Animated Series season 3.

In earlier articles, I complained about the price, but was still willing to sub. I usually wait a month after launch. These articles are pushing me away from that jump.

The biggest argument in favor of studio-specific streaming is the idea that the content they own will always be available. Disney+ seems to get that. It's bizarre that Warner can't figure this out.

“Subscribe to our new streaming service! We have DC comics stuff.... for three weeks... then it’s... uh... gone... maybe... we’re not sure... some stuff will.... will be gone, but it’ll be back... we, uh... we think. But we’ll have new stuff at the start of next month... I- I- I don’t know what yet... they haven’t

Oh Warner Brothers, continuing to be their own worst enemy when it comes to DC content.

As a subscriber to both, I've said this and will continue to say it: DC universe should have ALL DC films. As of March, I noticed they pulled all the Superman films, save 1, and all the Batman films were gone. DC universe is a great service. Same for HBO max, but you can have all the DC films and series under the DC

And now a month in..."
