You’re delusional to think the exclusion of Melee will dramatically decrease ticket sales.
Honestly? Good. I understand it’s a classic, popular fighting game, but it’s time to freshen up that scene, and for every person there was that loved melee, there seemed to be just as many who were pissed and tired that a 15+ year old game kept getting the main stage attention at Evo instead of newer titles, and…
I wish games were released when they were done instead of forcing us all to be a part of an extended beta.
If you should listen to ANYONE on how to fix a borked loot system, it’s the guys who did Loot 2.0 in Diablo III. They saved The Game That Jay Broke.
So, it’s basically the Beta for an MMO that’s been released with none of the social or economic aspects that make those games even somewhat interesting outside of their tired “Four Player Roles,” approach to gameplay.
All of that is right, except it’s Mega Man 2 with the skyscraper.
The character meeting the resistance leader is one of the shortest races, and the leader is the tallest, so it is like looking up a skyscraper. Mega Man at the top references the title screen of Mega Man 3, where he stands at the top of a skyscraper while a bad-ass theme plays. The rabbit ears are those of the…
I’ve worked in a union job. It wasn’t perfect. But when I got sick I was able to take paid time off. I had great vacation benefits, and even now that I’ve left, I’ve got an awesome pension that will be there for me in my old age.
Americans just see the percentage of their salary they “lose” and think a union is a bunch of worthless grifters stealing their money. They ignore the pay raises and other benefits the union results in.
I believe you because I’ve heard the same from many people over the past year. Some of them were even high-profile, like Ben Brode (former Hearthstone director, who went on to start a new company).
But trickle down economics!
I know, right? These days executives bake massive bonuses into their contracts regardless of how the company performs.
Remember when Iwata (and the rest of the board) took a 50% cut to his $770.000 salary because Nintendo wasn’t doing as well as expected?.
A shame that the Activision CEO only makes like $30 million and can’t afford it
Always feels good and normal when you fire a bunch of employees right after giving your new CFO a $15m signing bonus.
Wait? They axed parkour too? Why even tie it into the Titanfall universe at that point?
Their fate has been sealed, as we reach the next phase in EA’s death cycle.
I think Life In Agro's analysis of blu magic so far has been hilarious.
Yeah, from the demo at least, Anthem is WAY less solo friendly than Destiny. The balance of enemies seems to clearly be for groups and the respawning policy is downright unfriendly. Also, loads are bad if you ever die.
