Just all boycott the game already to show them we DON’T want a multiplayer online Fallout, especially one that is clobbered together using this 6 years old engine

It’s insane. Considering with how many bugs Bethesda’s games normally ship, and how many bugs stay unfixed for months, years, or forever, I’d wager that this game will be heaven for cheats and exploits. Also consider how much experience modders have with the engine, even if it has been altered for this game.
I know betas are expected to have bugs, but this game is on a whole other level.
Crunchyroll and Funimation are breaking up?!
I think the above video with Hayao Miyazaki kinda changed the way I think... The young me would be laughing that I’m bothered by this kind of thing.
It’s more body-horror and psychological. There’s some monsters and stuff, but I can’t recall any big jump scares or anything if that’s your worry.
This sounds frankly fantastic. Yet, I'm not really a horror game fan (like I skipped RE7 because I knew it'd freak me out too much). Would you still recommend it?
I will throw down money ASAP to support any developers telling stories like this even if I know I won’t get to play the actual game for a few months. Thanks for the heads up. I will buy this tonight as soon as I get home. Has there been any discussion about which system it plays best on? I have Xbox One X, PS4 Pro,…
Considering the way things are run in Japan/Korea/China/That region overall. I’m not surprised one bit by any of this :( Not even just there tbh either. It’s still occurring all over.
I haven’t seen any of the Spy Kids movies, but I do know how to google things...
You’re not wrong, and that is definitely one of the many things that need to be addressed to make this truly work and kill consoles/high-end pcs in my dream world. Just a matter of making that happen, and in the mean time, I don’t mind effort being put into making this work. Bonus points for that coming from not Valve.
Can we push for good internet everywhere first? This absolutely will not take off with the internet infrastructure in quite a few countries.
You forgot the third front; lots of people not having access to the super-fast internet speeds you need for game streaming. And lots of people are going to continue not having that since net neutrality is dead and a new bandwidth intensive online service sounds like the kind of think ISPs will definitely charge you…
Bingo. Infrastructure is going to be a major issue for this or any initiative to be successful. That’s just major metropolitan areas (never mind flyover which REALLY lacks the infrastructure to make this happen).
Can’t wait to replace my 1-time $400 console cost with ongoing high ISP fees to get adequate speeds that support rental of mostly playable streamed games to my PC.
Can’t believe I’m going to summon a Gabe quote, but it’s pretty on point here:
The *very first instant* I saw the original comic a few days ago I knew it was going to become a thing. And still people don’t appreciate just how far this will go. I’m calling it now, in 3-5 years time Nintendo will tentatively acknowledge Bowsette exists in a canon video game.
Fun fact, the whole Narruto Run was just a way for the animators to save money on running animation.
It means we won... all of those sneers and jeers growing up... we endured them. We prevailed and triumphed.
It had yet to be made common by the younger generation. Chances are that dude is younger than you, and it’s just been normal to him his whole life high school included.
