That’s because they’re complicit. The gun lobby benefits from tragedies, because they build their business on fear. The politicians, meanwhile, are in the industry’s pockets. It’s all working as intended.

You mean EVERY state. As long as gun purchasing guns stay lax, it’s not hard to buy them from the next state over and bring ‘em in to an area where they are not.

Event organizers or venues can increase security (which is good) but nothing is going to happen until larger government bodies get off their asses and actually do something to address gun violence.
