Still not seeing why someone would choose this option over Patreon—like, how many people will honestly be willing to shell out 5$ a month for one channel they like when they can plop down 1$ a month across five channels they like, but maybe aren’t as popular? Or pay-per-upload?

Why would they restrict it to people with over 100,000 subscribers? I don’t think subscribers are even that important, Youtube already suggests videos from people I watch, I don’t need to subscribe to a channel to make sure I get updates.

Easy: it’s not a fun game.

There are very few games this gen that couldn’t have been essentially the same game on PS3/360. We upgraded because we had to in order to get new games. I mean, Uncharted 4 or Last of Us 2 look nicer, but not that much nicer, and we’re getting pretty much the same experiences as their predecessors.
