Oh my God. It's like my mom getting mad that I had a birthday.

I actually like Jillian Michael's and Bob Harper but I wonder how much of their "OMG" faces were due to seeing her and thinking "oh shit, we definitely lost this time".

I doubt Fear Factor would have any deaths. Those stunts are planned ahead of time, I'm sure they had as much security equipment and medical staff as possible on site. The only deaths I would expect would be from someone going into anaphylactic shock because they didn't know they were allergic to those spiders they

Yeah, exactly. If I had the chance to win $100,000, then fuck health, I'd do whatever I had to do to win.

Yeah, the whole premise of the show is guaranteed to drive people to unhealthy measures. It seems a bit disingenuous to be all shocked and appalled when she did exactly what YOU taught her to do, just a little too successfully.

"Yet again, what's not acknowledged here: the importance of being dramatic and "abusive" because it makes for good television"

And this is different from the misleading and inflammatory bullshit that Jez publishes every day how, exactly?

It reminds me of the backlash Megan Fox received just because she wouldn't smile and socialized with, what I seem to remember, was mostly men in the crew of one of her movies. Time and time again she's mentioned in interviews she's shy and sort of introverted, but it seems you're not allowed to be that when when

People get so mad when a woman (especially an attractive woman) isn't nice or doesn't give them the attention they think they deserve. Seriously. So mad.

That was my interpretation too. I think he just felt unable to face her, because that means facing his own shitty behaviors, and he doesn't want that, of course. And I agree that he does love Megan and wants her to be happy. He's just not able to control his own need for the constant thrill his affairs give him.

Who wants to start a pool for who Don is going to have an affair with? It was hinted at in a promo.

Megan. Megan should go. Betty's death leaves holes. Megan's death creates story where once there was just a meaningless character (using the word character loosely).

I totally, 100% agree. I think that scene (forget which season) where she took a shotgun to the pigeons was an indication that there is a rebel lurking beneath the Stepford Wife exterior. It's a shame so many women here are so quick to hate on her - I've always seen her bad behavior as a result of deep unhappiness

No way. Betty is ripe with potential for the late 60's. A second divorce from Henry and she's too scandalous for good women to hang with. A progressive new friend turns her on to The Feminine Mystique, she starts dating a hippieish contractor who fixes her new house, she attends consciousness-raising groups with

me too. she need more time not less.

i don't understand why women have such vitriol towards betty. there were millions of women like her, and there are still millions like her today—trapped in bad marriages, no real way out, victims of the males in her life. she is an important example of how american women suffer, and i think her character should be

I enjoy Betty's character too, but where else do you think they can take her? I think she's developed as much as she can without completely revamping in a very unnatural way that is contradictory to her character and storyline.

Hell no. I know I'm in a minority here, but I love Betty Draper. I'm sorry they hardly gave her a story line in the last season.

I am confused by Betty-haters. Yes she is hard to watch sometimes, but I feel like watching her character really touches on a generation of older women and the lives they lived, that just doesn't quite exist anymore.

@femme-bot: Thank you! I don't get the Betty-hate at all. Her life is AWFUL. Rich, privileged and white, yes, but still awful.
