Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I’m okay with that. I’m a little sad that I won’t be able to spend more time with The Boss, but she had a good run, and this gives Volition a little more freedom to go off the rails in a new universe. Having SR set in more or less the modern US made them have to come up…
From what I can understand it’s set in the rebuilt Earth resulting from Johnny Gat’s deal with the devil at the end of Gat out of Hell, where the world would come back from destruction, but the Saints would never come together and start a gang.

Idk, looks single player to me. Doesn’t look like its going for overwatch/battleborn at all. The premise seems to be you vs the computer not vs multiplayer.
As someone who just finished (and loved!) Sunset Overdrive, I’m totally up for another open world game that doesn’t take itself too seriously. It also kind of gives me a Crackdown vibe, which is another open world game I always enjoyed (and whose sequel I expect we get more info about come E3).
I think Patton Oswalt summed it up best:
It’s our patriotic duty!
Punching Nazis is not a crime.
I’m on the autism spectrum, it happens among us. It’s called a shutdown. Sometimes called burnout. Ive had three major ones in my life, triggered by trauma twice and severe physical illness once. It’s hideous and often can take years to fully recover functionality. These poor kids I really feel for them.
Really? Kids so comatose they don’t eat and piss and shit themselves for months are faking? You don’t have a shred of empathy do you?
So the best thing would be if Cable continually blinks in and out of time, coming back as a different actor throughout the movie.
and by showing children the world is without compassion, they grow up seeing empathy as weakness.
Let me say to my kids, who are very nervous and worried now, that you are saying their feelings and symptoms are false. That will make them feel secure again.
Trauma (as in real trauma...fear that you or someone close to you will die or be grievously injured) is a profound...PROFOUNDLY dangerous state for a body and mind.
Do you want terrorists? This is how you get terrorists.
Edit for clarity: by kicking out CHILDREN who have nowhere to go and lose all hope.
For me the clincher will be how they handle the Loser Club as adults. Penny wise looks good to me, the kids look like they’ll do great, but I haven’t seen much with the adults yet.
This is so counterproductive. The ability to maintain family ties while prison is enormously important to reintegrating prisoners back into society upon their release. I imagine that a higher recidivism rate would cost the state more money than the current visitation program.
Um. Kim was definitely a robbery victim. She was tied up by the people stealing from her. Kendall, yes, burglary.
i barely open my front door all the way for food delivery people, and i’ve never been assaulted or robbed. if i had been, i’d have my house on lockdown too. i can’t fault kim and ‘ye (or even kendall) at ALL.
