I've taking to telling people who use this phrase to "suck my clit." They tend to be taken aback, and its fun to watch them think it over when you remind them it's no different than being told "suck my dick."

One of the things I've noticed is that men LOVE to throw the "you say you're a feminist but only men are drafted that isn't equal HA GOTCHA!" in my face. But that doesn't make any sense to me. Pretty much all the feminists (including myself) that I've met have stated that if there were ever a time where a draft for

Something that always has to be pointed out to guys like him — women and children also die in war, in large numbers. They are called civilian casualties.

The conscription argument is new to me and confounding. In my experience, people who throw around the term "feminazi" will happily explain about the dangers of having women serving on the front lines. So, what is a feminist to do about wars?

Also:

I'm guessing he's interpreting "patriarchy hurts men too" as "men deserve to die raaaarrrgh!" Because what I *have* seen pointed out to men raging about women not being drafted/in combat is that it's not WOMEN who had control of the armed forces and the government...it was men who held the power in those situations

Well Butters, never talked about it with my shrink. But it seems like you want to psycho-analyze me, so shoot.

Well thanks for patronizing me. I've seen the movie about 50 times, its been a favorite for over a decade.

This. So much truth. That isn't fat shaming, it is science.

My proposal went like this:

I got a press release on it this morning. Let me just pull out the telling bits:

How about the fact that a person's health, actual or perceived (and no, statistical analysis does not make you an individual fat person's doctor), has zero bearing on whether or not it's okay to be a dick to them?

You're right. You clearly do not understand the idea of fat people loving themselves. You've made that quite clear.

She makes the statements to the audience of everyone. Whether or not she wishes to fool herself into thinking that she is the baseline for "everyone" or not, her audience is everyone. I don't fucking care if your "what's your excuse?" poster has fine print that says "all people with legitimate reasons are excused from
