For the last few years, my motto has been: it's none of my business what others think of me.
For the last few years, my motto has been: it's none of my business what others think of me.
This is all I have to say.
Existing in public is enough of an excuse because women should exist only in ways men approve, i.e. as spank bank fodder. But try to say something or express your humanness in any way, you've crossed the line. Fame for women is merely for being pretty in the spotlight, not for having opinions.
Yeah, I've got to admit I'm OK with people sending rape threats under their real names. Maybe they could improve it - say, adding their home addresses, or CCing every woman they know - but for now, keep up the good work, fuckwits!
As a veteran of many urinary tract infections - I stop to pee whenever I have to. Too fucking bad if it ruins the mood. I'm following doctor's orders to pee before, during and after sex. At least I think she meant to stop sex and pee during. Golden showers don't appeal to me. TMI?
As long as you come back from the bathroom, what does he have to complain about? Does he have some performance anxiety? Is he worried that nothing should upset his focus? Good sex usually involves some starts and stops, so he probably either doesn't have enough experience to know this, or he feels insecure about it.
How many people have stopped to pee or drink water during sex? I just started dating a guy who gets really frustrated with me when I do either of those things. I feel like I can't help it, but he says it ruins the mood and just gets dressed and walks out of the bedroom. What the hell? Help? I feel like even if…
This is all sickening but it's the "act like a slut, you'll get treated like a slut" comment that really gets to me. Because as far as I can tell, the only thing this woman is "guilty" of is existing in public. Which is this whole fucked up thing in a nutshell - if you're a woman, it doesn't matter what you do or…
That's probably true.
But, in my defense, I should say that I share an apartment with some of the Romney kids and some of the Palin kids too — Brax, Splint, Calc, and Vault. Nice enough guys. Apparently they're involved in politics — which is nice, since it reminds me when to change the sheets.
Are those television shows? I'm unfamiliar . . .
You see, I have a tv in my bedroom, but I can't see the screen from underneath my mattress.
but how do we sleep while our beds are burning?
All of that seems like really, really good advice.
But I have a more, um, rudimentary question:
The mattress — Do I sleep on top of it? Or does it sleep on top of me?
Thanks in advance.
I tend to agree with this view. A few years ago, William Gibson published a novel called Zero History in which a (very minor) character is a model who leaves the industry and finds work in another field. Apparently, when Gibson was researching the book, he found an essay I wrote years ago here at Jezebel, because he…
If arson in bed is wrong, I don't want to be right.
"In real life, women do not have business wiles and have no problem fucking men who are bad for society if its opportunistic for them. Walt’s turn to a dark empire would make Skylar less likely to cheat on him, not more."
Arguably yes. But I think the idea is that this (like Mad Men, The Sopranos, Walking Dead and Boardwalk Empire—that all have similar fan issues) is a show set in a universe populated almost exclusively by assholes. Walt and Jesse are assholes and the internet LOVES them for it. Men on television seem to be allowed to…
Sex-positive feminism isn't "sexy feminism". The point isn't feminism, now with more lipstick and heels. It's about defending your right to be sexual without being sexualized; about defending your right to have the consensual sex you want and not seeing everything that doesn't fit a very narrow, PC model of sex as not …
So if I say, "white people are stupid," it's not a generalization of all white people? We're getting down to syntax here, and that's no way to debate.
Are you fucking kidding with this? Is English not your first language? Are you telling me that the statement "women say they 'train their men'" is false? Are you telling me that women do not and have never used that phrase or a variant thereof? Because I can tell you right now that you're wrong. I've heard it, and…
