I got the same response on a 3GS. I wonder if it's an iPhone 4-only thing.

I did this today to my old 3GS. The procedure outlined above did not work; I get stuck on #2, as the Emergency Call button does not appear. The triple-click on the Home button simply turns Voice Over for me. However, if I ignore that and try to activate the phone (unsuccessfully), I eventually see the Emergency Call

So this would put those "bump" money transfer apps out of business. On the other hand, you could just walk by someone and "take" their money.

If you place your phone (i.e., wallet) in a Mylar bag, then no one can steal it.

What type of software would something like this run on? Windows?

Where's my PlayBook?

The moment something is invented, its future is referred to in the past tense.

I'm still pissed that the Clock app shows 10:15 AM instead of PM.

I use Dashboard, albeit in a very informal way. Talking about going snowboarding this weekend? F12 shows me the weather in Tahoe. Need a quick translation? F12. Square-root of -1? F12. Stocks? F12.
