It's a ridiculous argument used by insecure people who can't take criticism or people who can't handle criticism of the works of others. Not all criticism is valid of course, but attempting to invalidate it by questioning the persons own skills is a fallacious argument. It's attacking the person, not the argument.

I agree, the biggest problem with the rotoscoping is not the style (although I don't like it) but that it's a pointless trade off. You lose all the charm of animation and in return you gain all the limitations of live action. And on top of that the resulting aesthetic, while not bad in of itself, is incredibly

I am so convinced by your logical argument and sound scientific (and totally not anecdotal) evidence. Clearly the Xbox controller must be superior. Clearly I am not being terribly sarcastic.

I'd have lasers in my security system anyway. They wouldn't do anything of course, and would have wide enough gaps that they could be easily traversed. They'd just inspire a false sense of security as the thief tripped the motion sensors. Plus lasers look cool.

I haven't played in like a week. My town will be a wasteland when I return.

Is it illegal? Because against the ToS or the EULA isn't necessarily the same as illegal. Most terms in them are actually unenforceable and have no real legal basis. A ToS is almost purely a safety net for the publisher that prevents you going after them in court if they ban you from their service. But it doesn't

On Xbox One? Then yeah its pretty much inevitable that it'll be shut down at some point. If it's popular enough though it's going to last a long time. On the PC however? Games retain multiplayer support (even if it's no longer supported by the developer) as long as a community for it exists.

It's not about the actual amount, it's that he uses more than is necessary. He over eggs his setup and it weakens his punchline. I love SMBC, and it's because Zach knows how to tell a joke. He can just as easily do it in one panel as he can ten. He doesn't try to constrain or pad out his comics just to fit a format.

Eh, with a lot of games designed primarily for controllers I'd disagree to an extent. Admittedly some of the ones he's listed aren't good examples, but even as a long term PC gamer there's games I feel more comfortable playing with a controller than KBM.

The MotionInJoy DS3 tool pretty much makes that fact redundant though. It's capable of emulating a DS3 as a 360 pad. It's a much easier solution than mapping it to keyboard inputs, and works with pretty much everything that supports 360 controllers.

Are you using the 360 Controller emulator option? I've yet to find a game that has a problem with it. Your issue might be with the game itself and not the controller, check there isn't a setting somewhere that's missed and of course that the game actually has controller support.

I never argued that they should, I'm just pointing out that they didn't. But as for why they should have, to save face if nothing else. Whether it happened before it was on sale or not doesn't change the fact that they pissed off a lot of their fans just by planning what they were going to do. An apology would help

I don't know, because some people still haven't forgiven them for trying it in the first place? Just because they've given up on it doesn't mean that it never happened. Besides they never really apologised or admitted they were wrong.

No idea, it's been in beta/alpha for a while now though. They've added a ton of cool new stuff since I last tried it though. Solar panels, electric engines, docking ports, stuff for making space stations. It's got a pretty strong modding community and a lot of the stuff they've come up with seems to be making it into

Love the Ellie cosplay. SDCC is something I'd like to go to one day... but the USA is damn expensive to get to. I'm going next year but I plan on hitting up PAX Prime instead. This'll be my older brothers second Comic-con though. I think he's planning on going as the main character from Dishonoured.

I'll admit that it's not as big a discount as I would have hoped for. But despite its status as "pre-release" the game is pretty good as-is. I'd look into it to see if you're interested first though. It's a sim game so it's not going to be to everyones tastes. Although it's presented as pretty wacky it's actually got

I like the Sims, but the pricing on it is crazy. Especially with all the expansion packs to boot. The fact there's no single bundle that gets you everything is especially sucky.

I was hoping Kerbal would be cheaper, but I decided to just go for it rather than waiting for a future sale. Despite its status as a pre-release title it's pretty damn awesome as it is, and I imagine it'll only get better as they finish it.

He's still awful at delivering jokes though.

Not one of his worst efforts, but Buckley still uses too many panels and too much text in setting up the punchline. I swear he's legally married to the four panel format.
