That's an overly simplistic way of looking at things though. First of all we don't know how much more money they need. If they only need another few hundred thousand then it's not fair to say that the $3.45mil paid for only half the game. Secondly development costs aren't evenly distributed on a month by month basis.

Congratulations, you win the dumb comment of the day award. This prestigious honour comes with a special trophy. It's invisible!

I'm not defending them, I'm just using some perspective. You should try it some time.

Because the game they are making now is significantly different from the one they would have made with the 400k. They made the game a whole lot bigger after they got the three million because they could hardly take three million and make a 400k game with it. Unfortunately they underestimated how much bigger they were

This pretty much highlights a big problem with Kickstarter, stretch goals get out of hand and budgets balloon leading project creators to get too ambitious. It's pretty easy to budget for what you actually need. But after you hit that point I imagine it becomes difficult to know what to do with all the money. It's a

They cover a fair amount of FG related news. Not as much as a website specialising in that area would, but the percentage coverage is generally in line with all the other stuff they cover. The problem is the FGC only shows up when they post about something bad happening in the FGC and then just don't read the site the

Problem with the Blade is the same still though. Poor value to performance ratio, although it seems improved from the original Blade. I've no doubt it's a pretty awesome machine though. People complain a lot about Alienware machines, but it is largely because they don't offer good value. Having owned one for a while I

It's supposed to sound stupid. Xbox One is a stupid name and deserves an equally stupid nickname.

By that extension all public changing rooms, showers, toilets, and dormitories should be mixed. Because violation of human rights and all.

Yeah, except you'd get the same response from Koreans if they had it the other way. Either way they did it would upset one side as they'd perceive it to be in support of the other. If they made it accept both then they'd be accused of being spineless for not getting involved.

I don't know why I find this so hilarious, the lame origin story just makes it even funnier.

Is this exclusive to pre orders? I'd agree then. Free DLC with a pre order is fine, limiting the DLC to pre orders only is as you say gross.

I'm not certain if we even know that they weren't together at the time. Obviously from her point of view they weren't. But it's hard to say for sure whether that was communicated to him or not. After all why else would he have a key to the room they were doing the nasty in?

Yeah, I couldn't stand losing a hand. Maybe I could part with my pinky or ring fingers but nothing else. I used to think losing a leg wouldn't bother me that much, but then I started climbing and legs are kind of important for that.

Does this not strike anyone else as an incredibly dumb career move? I mean he's essentially gone from a sturdy ocean liner that's recently sprung a few leaks to a rusty tugboat that's taking on water fast. And is also on fire.

It doesn't make me that mad when I see cheaters, I just move on. But I don't get angry because they're just too pathetic to get annoyed at. Someone who'd pay just so they can pretend to be awesome at a game? It's just sad and shallow. And hackers/botters? You're paying for a computer to play for you, that just

The funny thing is that this would be a far more useful feature had Microsoft moved forward on their DRM plans. As it stands now it's just situationally handy.

When I was growing up my parents grew too used to the idea that games could be paused at the drop of a hat. They never really cottoned to why you can't really pause online multiplayer games.

Because it's not a problem. When people complain about linearity in a game they're generally complaining about the delivery. People only complain about it when they notice it, and then it's indicative of a problem in presentation.
