Why do all zombie films need the word "Dead" in them?
Land of the living dead, brain dead, evil dead, walking dead, night of the living dead, day of the dead, dead snow...
It seems to be something that comes with the territory, kind of an in-joke for zombie fans that everything needs to have a z or dead in it.

Is it just me or does this look really, REALLY awful?
Like it's been weirdly photoshopped or something, or maybe the game just looks far better in motion than it does in stills...

isn't it bizzare how the two really really low-budget and massively underwhelming games come out on console and the one they seem to actually be putting some effort into is a mobile game?

The world was fucked anyway, there was no coming back from that.
There wasn't even any guarantee that they would find a cure, Ellie deserved to be saved!

Same, I stopped playing once you got into that big field full of shit to kill.
But saying that, I do that with a lot of RPG's, I play them for a portion then get bored and stop playing, quite often when I reach a point that goes "Now find your own way through the game!" rather than a point where you can wander from a

Fuck this guy, Joel did the right thing.

Needs less Armin and more Mikasa

They look very much like concept art for a Pixar film

I always love it when games let you do stuff like this.
It's always been a little bit of a gripe with me that the items you wear in most games are determined by stats rather than aesthetics.
You go through all the effort of character customisation making a character you like the look of only to shove on some armour that

And I understand that, I know I would if I had a big expensive gaming PC.
But I still imagine there are a lot more people that play WoW on fairly crappy computers than there are ones that play them on incredibly powerful ones!
I suppose you could also argue people that put a lot of money into a dedicated gaming rig are

Can not wait to get my hands on Second Son!
Booked Friday off work plus the whole week after, I'm going into a game, comics and general media consumption binge with full force.

I have to say, I find it really weird how so many people consider this kind of thing immature or in bad taste
For me it just seems entirely harmless.

If anything I find it kind of refreshing in a way that Sony are willing to let their representatives show a little personality and have a bit of fun with their positions,

I seriously think Shooter 2 had some of the best multiplayer ever designed and it was woefully underplayed.
I absolutely loved it, the fact that you could be so tactical and it was all about outsmarting the enemy player.
It was seriously fantastic.

This makes me feel so ashamed.
I've never even got to my second badge in a pokemon game.
I've played hours in X & Y but get distracted feeding my marowak weird little muffin things.

I'm not scared of spiders myself, it was more the way the story was told than the themes.
It wasn't the fact that they were spiders, it was the fact that they seemed so intelligent and vindictive.
The way it never offered an explanation for how they got like that, and even the way you found the fragments was reminiscent

Yeah, the combat was pretty ass!
I just really vividly remember the sequence at the beginning where you're reading about the man that was fighting off the spiders that would get bigger and smarter the more of them he killed.

I think in it's day the Silent Hill games were much scarier, but they have dated quite a bit since and may not be so much now.
I certainly don't find them too scary any more but that could be because I've played them multiple times.

Have you played any of the Penumbra games?
I still feel that there are elements in those games that are far better than Amnesia.
Amnesia was good but there was just something about it that I felt to be a lot less satisfying than the first two Penumbra's.

I understand why people find it scary, but I don't understand why it's been praised as one of the scariest games of all time. (I've seen numerous commenters and websites making the claim since it was released on PC)
It's a bit jumpy, and I see why it could get to some people that are more susceptible to that kind of

If they see you going into the locker they will run up and open it, but so long as you're out of sight when you do it they never do.
(maybe on the hardest difficulty, I don't know though)
