I love Templesmith's work!
I read a lot of comics/graphic novels, but I'm not so big into superheroes or really much of anything by Marvel or DC.
As it turns out if you go looking for comics that tell unique and exciting stories, they tend to come with unique and exciting art styles too!

Regarding the isolation, I had been wondering how much media from outside Japan ever gets anything in the way of publication over there.
Is there much of a market in Japan for imported comics/graphic novels or is it pretty much nonexistent?

I know that here in England we have shops that specialise in food and novelty

I've always found it strange how little deviation you see from the anime style within Japan.
As somebody who studied illustration and reads a lot of small-press comics, it's very clear to me that western audiences (outside of the general marvel/dc crowd) really appreciate unique art styles in their work.

I look on my

I've seen a bunch of people talking about how Microsoft are all good now because they've gone back on the DRM policies of the Xbox One.
When they announced it everybody was up in arms because Microsoft were treating the consumer like shit, but now it's all ok because they went back on it, they are being nice to us now,

I know Minecraft isn't exactly a "pretty" game, but I still think it has a good aesthetic.
The visuals serve a purpose very well.
It's always easy to distinguish what materiel is what, what biome you're in and what items you have.
Everything is very distinctive and for a game where the entire world is made up of

I've always been really bothered by She Hulk.
How all the male hulks turn into massive beastly monsters with unreasonable amounts of muscle.
They are huge balls of testosterone and rage!

She Hulk? Nope!
No huge ridiculously proportioned muscles for her.
She's just tall and has big boobs.
Fair enough, she's muscular, but she

You know, I was thinking the same thing.
The image has a very Half-Life 1 vibe about it.

The game looks like it could be really fun, but I'm quite put off by the visuals.
Everything looks really indistinct and messy.
I enjoy games where you build things but I like working to make them as visually appealing as they are practical, and it doesn't look like something remotely possible here.

Unfortunately I'm

Something I think is great about the internet era is that girl perversion is coming out of the closet.
Everyone knows guys are pervs, it's a very common and in many ways socially accepted thing that guys will check out girls and shout sexual slurs at her and sit around in groups talking about sex and all that jazz.
But

And straight men can like women that aren't "pretty".
I was writing with a veil of sarcasm there but what i'm trying to get at is, sexy will never go away, no matter how much people bitch, there will always be more people that want to see sexy.
So add some good diversity to the mix.
Make it so it's ok that sexy is there

Theres so much debate about the sexualisation of women surrounding this game, which although it is justified and all is a shame because the game really is astounding and deserves recognition for more than its boobs. (ironic that really isn't it?)

I think I have a solution.
Some people say we need less sexy women, theres

Funny how old Valve games still look just as, if not more appealing than a lot of games that have much more advanced graphical capabilities.

I get why some people area really into realistic visuals so they can blow you away with how advanced computers and game technology are now and all that, but they never hold up

... asian devs in general or a specific developer that happened to be asian?

If I go in can I get a discount for having blonde hair and blue eyes? c:

Anybody else find it strange how having a meal is considered a sociable act?
Whenever something special happens my family's go-to option tends to be a meal of some kind.

I finished University not long ago and the way to celebrate was to gather up some family friends and go to a restaurant.
Which is fun, of course.
Always

I am fucking fascinated by EVE but I would never in a million years touch the thing.

It's like how I love learning about the world of Game of Thrones or Lord of the Rings or Half Life or Dead Space but I would never want to actually BE in them.
I would die, be horrifically oppressed or live a very very miserable life.

I have a bunch of games on my list with mystery origins.
There are a few I assume were in a Humble Bundle or something similar I was unaware of, but then there are a few like Splinter Cell Conviction that I just have no idea about.
The weird thing about that is, I have a pretty mediocre computer that wouldn't even be

That last comic came off a little too close to home...
The only thing I bought during the steam sale was FTL, there wasn't anything else that interested me.

I feel like I must be ill or something.

I've never looked at his twitter (and apparently now I can't) and only really knew about him from the film and hearing people call him a dick.

I've never really understood why Phil Fish gets so much heat and has such a bad reputation.

I hear lots of people talking about how he is obviously such a prick and a horrible person, but when I watched Indie Game the Movie he didn't seem like a prick at all.
He just seemed incredibly stressed all the time, and who
