2K11 is a decent game, especially with the patch that just came out which fixes the most annoying parts of the game (freezing, baserunners never going 1st to 3rd or home to 2nd, robbed home runs counting as an out and a run, etc.)

EA's NHL is far superior to the 2K series. You can hate them for a variety of other reasons, but the death of this franchise was good ol' fashioned market competition.

I think that's like a 6/10 on the excitement scale. They can still kill people and they're a professional, organized team going up against pubbies. It'd be way more impressive if they just didn't kill anyone.

I've never gotten more than 3 home runs in one game with one player. In fact I've probably never gotten more than 4 home runs total in one game. Probably because I'm a sadist and play sports games on whatever difficulty will give me the most trouble while still allowing me to snatch a few wins.

Besides, pirating a game generally means you're missing out on something. In Borderlands, I couldn't enjoy the Steam support the people I played with enjoyed. In CoH I couldn't get online at all. In CoD 4 I could only play on hacked servers with no anti-cheat.
