I’m actually surprised how non-gimmicky it is. The only “gimmick” is that it’s portable which doesn’t affect gameplay like motion controls, multiple simultaneous use of screens, 3D... This is the most normal console they’ve released since the GameCube. I wish they showed more games and specs so we knew more of what

It’s tame, but if you flash back six months ago to when Bernie was surging it could have still been used pretty effectively.

But people upgrade their phones twice as fast as people upgrading consoles, not to mention that gaming consoles are relatively niche compared to cell phones.

The advent of Flash in the mid-aughts also made animation more accessible to do and that explains the more “doodle-y” style(not a read, I love the animation in Adventure time, Steven universe, Over the Garden Wall). Looking Cartoon Network’s current line up you can tell they’re trying to create their own house style

Really? In my games it’s always a race to the last couple of points because everything gets built up so there are more resources going to everyone. General strategy I to build cities early so in the final rounds you can scoop up longest road or make some easy settlements for a couple points. Though maybe your group

NoctisIV?

Lolol!

I’m not surprised either, but mostly because I’ve not paid much attention to the development of this game. I just feel a need to correct you that it’s not the vastness of the game that’s stopping people from playing together, it’s the game itself.

They were on the same planet, right? It kind of puts a hole in the whole “mathematically impossible” angle. Unless there’s something I’m not understanding. It’s not that the universe is infinitely vast, there’s just straight up no multiplayer outside of naming things.

I mean, it’s obviously not that mathematically improbable given the article you’re commenting on is about two friends who happened upon the same planet and noticed they couldn’t see each other.

Throwing out gyms entirely is a radical changeup.

Arglebargle is going to be my new catchphrase, thanks!

Or decent first party support. The Wii U’s first year was super rough, and even now there is still no original Zelda or Mario game for it(I don’t count 3D World as it was a sequel to 3D Land).

The Wii was waaaaaay more successful than the ps3 and the 360.

I think they’ve completely given on the Wii U but still need something to get that sweet holiday cash. NES games are five dollars a pop, so it is significantly cheaper to buy this new system than use the Virtual Console. I’m curious to see if this “system” will outsell the Wii U...

It’s literally a presentation; It’s something that is being presented.

CTR is the best kart racing game ever release. No hyperbole. So amazing and hasn’t been topped since.

Having so many iterations so close together defeats the purpose of having a console, though because it’s Microsoft leading the charge I could see how they would benefit from this convergence. I’m really curious how Nintendo’s next console will do this cycle... I could see them taking advantage of this console vacuum

Black washing?

The tail in the picture is all white and round, not like Eevee’s which is mostly tan.
