I'm sure I would like it very much if Microsoft would actually ship it seeing as how I ordered it a week and a half ago. :$ #windows7

Maybe I live in a hole under a very large rock, but I've spent my entire life without having cable or satellite (no I'm not Amish). I've relied on antennas and more recently, Internet for all my television needs.

All the info you really need to know:

@MisterWho *Star: I'm sure all the orange douchebags will go nuts for this. JAGERBOOOOMB!

Thank you again, Lifehacker! Once again you've read my mind and posted an answer to something just before I was going to search with the question.

Gah! Lifehacker uploaded images disappears after editing a post. WTF?

Boink! (Full screencap)

I've used the same electric razor for the past 10 years. Then again, I only have a dozen hairs poking out of the bottom of my chin. o.O

@HeartBurnKid: Agent of R.O.A.C.H.: I facepalm every time someone says that they don't like using Ubuntu or Linux in general because they have to use Terminal for X Y and Z. Just because a lot of advanced users like using the Terminal because it's sometimes faster, doesn't mean it's the only way to do it.

@sjwgator: You will probably not have an issue when upgrading but on the rare rare chance that something might corrupt your hard drive, why take the chance on your data?

@GuardianOfChaos: Agreed. My brother is your everyday normal casual gamer who doesn't have time to follow the latest in gaming news. He's a long time Wolfenstein fan but he was completely unaware that a new Wolfenstein game was even in production.

@phor11: If you've seen the tech demos, then you would know that id Tech 5 (the engine that Rage is built on) is extremely scalar and the whole point of the technology was to remove the need to do "ports" of the game.

VOTE: VLC

I'm surprised most people haven't discovered that you can string multiple zip ties together, passing the sharp end of one zip tie into the eye of the second zip tie. Then pass the sharp end of the second zip tie into the eye of the first. You can string as many ties together as required.

VOTE: Mac: Adium, Linux: Pidgin, Windows: Digsby.

Currently, I'm using Mystic Thumbs which does pretty much the same thing. I can also confirm that it works on Windows Vista 64 (and probably Windows 7 as well).

@BurkDP: Not often, but there you go. O.o

Beyond Compare gives me much better control of file merging, file/version comparison, data backup, etc. Plus it's easily scriptable so I can do things like backup to external while comparing differences between folders and file versions.

VOTE: Acer Aspire One

Curious... does Lifehacker have some sort of script that parses vote counts or does some poor sod have to go through all the comments and actually count them all. If the latter, I feel so so sorry for you and suggest you work on a suitable lifehack to make your life easier.
