Mixing energy drinks and alcohol can be a dangerous combination and in fact may make you "feel" more sober than you actually are, resulting in impaired behaviour.

On Windows, I use Mp3tag to embed album art into the metadata (while at the same time tagging my music).

I saw the picture of the hog and immediately thought of Duke Nukem.

I know that my ISP does not throttle traffic directly, but because they have to license their lines from Bell Canada, they are at the mercy of Bell. Bell has started to introduce traffic shaping in select areas and there's been quite the uproar.

Another vote for Textpad.

My previous ISP started snooping, throttling and traffic shaping my Internet. I couldn't very well pick up my normal software updates via bittorrent (Ubuntu, for example) and the connection was otherwise craptastic.

I never roll up the tube. When running low, I just drag the tube down across the edge of the bathroom counter and that squeezes all the toothpaste to the mouth of the tube. Every. Last. Bit.

@whiskey: That does work, but it's not exactly W3C compliant and will probably get picked up as a validation error. Instead, try using IE Conditional Comments.

Thanks for the tip! That's been bugging me for quite some time.

It seems to require a bit of a delay before rotating (could be because I'm running this on two very large dual monitor displays). It's not as smoothly executed as Beryl on Linux, but good for those of you on Windows with tiny laptop screens.

Great, so instead of just receiving spam email, I can also have them call me on the phone for fantastic Viagra deals! Thanks Lifehacker.

BitDefender and Kaspersky are great antivirus programs, but they aren't free.

This is nothing new...

I also like the Linux/Ubuntu suggestions. More specifically, what's the proper methodology for installing apps from source code (ie. for 64-bit users), how to set up VNC, file and printer sharing with Windows/OS X boxes?
