My friends in Mexico City (a mix of locals and foreigners) almost always take Uber. They view regular taxis as unsafe, and with the added benefit of Ubers having GPS, the drivers never get lost.

I would have my car on GetAround or Turo if it was allowed in NY State. I barely use it during the week. It would be great to have it make money for me when I’m on vacation (GetAround had space JFK for this purpose).

The $150k Jeep will not steal many sales from Mercedes, Range Rover, and the like. It may indeed sell, but won’t be considered to be on the same playing field no matter how it is priced & equipped.
