Most people who drove BMWs went for Audi's after that. I doubt any American cars were on their radar screen.

So he's not 'rich' by car buff terms. Still he is in his twenties driving a BMW. A car that costs a bit to insure and maintain. Whatever his circumstances are today he will find his fortunes tapped into a bit after this.

Define "rich"....because lots of folks would look at a Bimmer driver like this as "rich". This guy teed it up for the authorities to bust him. Oh well.

I drove one recently on a test drive. It was spirited and fun. But it is still a Volkswagon. That is one huge strike against it right there.
