Honestly? I’ll take it. I’d rather have a competent person in power whose policies I disagree with than an imbecile whose policies I support.

I mean, yes, but at least Pence isn’t going to be starting WWIII with a tweet. I’ll take Lawful Evil over Chaotic Evil any day of the week.

“We do not want these individuals or groups to buy our pizza.”-

Whomever voted for CiCi’s should be, well, forced to eat at Cici’s.

That’s the “parable” part here. You, reader of this stupid fucking email, are not the rich guy. You know you’ve been getting free beers and unless you want that GRAVY TRAIN to jump the tracks you’d better keep your fucking mouth shut about these goddamn rich people tax cuts. Got it?

One of the things I hate most about the evolution of game design in the last ten years or so isn’t microtransactions, or making games accessible, though those can both be done badly, it’s the wide movement toward thinking that scarcity is, fundamentally, a bad design concept. “Players want to <do the thing that

Legislators aren’t scouring the criminal code for anachronistic law. It doesn’t matter if it’s rape, livestock theft, debtor punishment, etc., fixes are made incrementally as cases come up. As the country ages, we’ll always see laws that aren’t consistent with current social mores; those laws shouldn’t be viewed as

People have a right to protest. That is the bloody essence of America.

In many places, this is exactly how white poverty is discussed.

There is a Bookoff in the US! Its in Manhattan on 45th and 6th. Retro games there are mad cheap, they even have some imports (a ton of 3/DS and PS2 imports actually). If you’re ever in Manhattan it is the place to go for the cheapest retro games, albeit not the biggest selection. Don’t go to videogamesnewyork. WAY

I ended up buying a massive duffel for $8 and throwing all of my clothing and toiletries in it, then carefully packing 110 volumes of manga, two Super Famicoms, 30 games, and a Framemesiter into my suitcase and carry-on.

Book Off (as a whole) was hands-down my favorite store I visited during my time in Japan. I did find several titles at good prices in other locations, I was just pissed that the Akihabara location was too lazy to price their Super Famicom games appropriately. And my God... the 100Y manga section. I went to Japan

I went to Japan in July, and most of my time in Tokyo was spent combing through various retro gaming shops, trying to find everything on my buylist. A quick run-down:

Sued by DOJ for refusing to rent to black people, ultimately settling the case (despite “never settling”), then sued and settles again for failing to live up to original settlement.

Nobody thought it was strange that the titles of two of his collections were “Tous Les Yeux Sur Moi” and “Strictement Pour Mes Niggas”

Do you want things to get better, or do you want to get mad? When someone gets down on their knees and admits they’re wrong, you have to be big enough to help them back to their feet again. If you don’t, why would anyone change their minds?

Damn these cooldowns are even affecting the articles

I agree with you. If they had decided to fight using MMA rules and promote the fight through the UFC the purse would be a fraction of what it is as a boxing match. Sure the PPV would help, but at the end of the day the economics are a lot better as a boxing match rather than an MMA fight in both purse and PPV.

You are aware that boxers are commonly referred to as “fighters” and a boxing match is typically referred to as a “fight,” correct? And even technical or defensive boxers are known as “technical fighters” or “defensive fighters.” And he’s 49-0. If Laura had called him one of the greatest knockout artists or sluggers,
