Really, I wasn’t aware of that. I had read more than once that it “wasn’t possible” on the NES version, so I assumed that was the uncommon one. I was always like “yeah it is, I did it.”

Man, as a kid I was obsessed with this game on the nes. Fun bit of trivia: some copies of the game did actually allow you to, umm, cook certain things in the microwave, even in the nes.

The game is for people who like boss fights. The monsters in the demo were toned down a bit relative to the full game. The higher-tier monsters in the game are easily as difficult as anything a Souls game can throw at you.
