The pricing here is much more skewed.

Quebec has "special" issues when it comes to roads. As a province it gets the highest amount of federal funding for road maintenance out of any province in Canada, but at the same time, Quebec has the highest number of roads out of any province. For whatever reason, that leads to the worst quality roads in all of

That's brutal. I wasn't trying to say that Canada's fuel was expensive, just that Americans keep complaining about their high fuel costs when they already have the cheapest fuel in North America

For the record, regular fuel here is 87 octane. The 91 stuff usually is about $1.30 and 94 comes out around $1.50. 100 octane fuel here is considered racing fuel, so it's massively more expensive since you have to order it through specialty shops.

Gas is still almost $5/gallon up here in Canada ($1.20/L for regular). Enjoy your already cheap gas getting cheaper.

Jalopnik gave a live stream link to the 24 hours of Dubai around 1:30 EST yesterday afternoon http://jalopnik.com/5975120/

I actually like that better than the original. Does that make me a bad person?

I disagree on the "don't bring your own helmet" point 100%. At every rental kart place I've been to, the helmets are old, have bad foam inside, and are soaked with 1000 other people's sweat. The operators give you a hair net to protect you from what's inside.

There's nobody in front of you to get sand in the air, so you should be fine ;)

;) I would hope not.

You're not getting the joke are you?

I think it would make more sense to group it into 3 separate classes:

Yeah, I'm a Plato fan, despite his unruly nature behind the wheel, but that move on Sheddon put a bad taste in my mouth too. I believe he received a penalty for that though.

Just keep in mind that while BTCC is a "full contact" motorsport, WTCC frowns heavily on contact. Every time cars touch, the incident goes under investigation by the stewards, and possibly leads to drive through penalties. It makes for much cleaner racing, but usually much more boring racing. I watch them both,

11 miles worth of moving around the factory/warehouse/shipping yards. If it was the sultan's, then he probably never attended a track day with it, so it was never used.

Classic stuff right there +1

I can almost guarantee you that a Jeep YJ/TJ with a hard top is worse, especially in the winter. It gets cold fast, there's no space, and the back bench isn't that comphy

This is exactly how I drove to work this morning, and exactly how I will be driving home tonight. I've got snow tires, but that doesn't change the fact that my 2WD pickup with nothing in the back is going to be fishtailing the whole way

I see them all the time up here in the Great White North

I won't need a lottery win to get one, just a few more years to pay off some mortgage and find a bigger house.
